The Dodge City Family YMCA is excited to announce a new partnership with Koch Fertilizer, whose generous $50,000 gift reflects our shared commitment to empowering youth and strengthening our community. This support enables us to launch Little Ninjas and NinjaZone programs, with the potential to add Baby Ninja and Competitive Ninja in the future, expanding opportunities for youth development, active play, and building confidence in Dodge City.
The NinjaZone program combines elements of gymnastics, obstacle training, and character development to create a fun and challenging environment for kids of all ages. Little Ninjas focuses on early childhood development through movement and basic skill-building, while NinjaZone offers more advanced challenges designed to build strength, confidence, discipline, and resilience.
“One of our main priorities is continuing to provide innovative and engaging programs that meet the needs of kids and families in our community,” CEO Jackie Gaucin says. “This gift from Koch Fertilizer allows us to add a unique program that not only promotes physical activity, but also builds confidence and character in our youth. We are incredibly grateful for their investment in our YMCA and in the kids of Dodge City. Opportunities like this are what help us continue to grow and better serve our community. We are currently recruiting people who enjoy working with children, learning new skills, and have fun to teach Ninja classes!”
“We’re proud to back the Dodge City Family YMCA and their dedication to helping kids grow and thrive," Cody Gragg, Plant Manager said. “Programs like NinjaZone really show our values—giving kids a safe, fun way to stay active, learn new things and build confidence. By teaming up, we’re making a real difference for families and our whole Dodge City community.”
The YMCA is currently preparing to launch the NinjaZone program, with plans to begin offering open houses through the summer and classes starting in the fall. These programs will provide a new and exciting option for youth looking for something active, engaging, and different from traditional sports.
