Our CEO, Jackie Regan-Gaucin, and Executive Director of the Kansas Alliance of YMCAs, Jennifer Bruning, recently spent a few days in Washington, DC, meeting with elected officials on YMCA Advocacy Work.
One of our top four priorities included celebrating the YMCA’s 175 years of service, along with top priorities of Childcare funding, Chronic Disease Prevention and Mental Health.
We greatly appreciate all the staff who met with with us, and extend a special thanks to Jerry Moran, US Senator, who took time to meet with us directly to hear our priorities and the hard work the Kansas Ys have been doing to support our communities.
